Seven Florida craft breweries received medals in 8 categories at the 2017 GABF (Great American Beer Festival) held in Denver Colorado, October 5-7, 2017.  Florida happens to be the home state of the Craft Beer Geek so it makes me proud to honor and celebrate these winning breweries along with all Florida Craft Breweries.  Craft beer is popular and thriving in Florida and it is great to see some national attention!

Florida’s unique climate and varied cultural heritage offers great challenges and inspiration to our brewers. Here are the medal winners from Florida at the 2017 GABF, I invite you to seek out these brews as well as any Florida craft beer you can get your hands on, cheers!

Congratulation to the winners for their outstanding wins!
